We want to introduce
you to the F.O.T.O. Weight Loss Plan. F.O.T.O.
stands for Five On Two Off. This means five days (Monday-Friday)
of eating healthy and two days (Saturday & Sunday)
of eating whatever you want to with no limits. The following
paragraphs will describe how we came up with this plan.
It will also explain how to successfully implement this
into your everyday life.
My husband and I tried EVERTHING!
Everything including low carb, low fat, low calorie,
low sugar, and prepackaged meals. They were all missing
one thing, FOOD WE ACTUALLY ENJOYED!
We love food and can't imagine limiting ourselves to
only specific foods. In the past, we've used weight
loss pills or followed very strict diets. The pills
seemed less effective over time. We also didn't like
the way we felt nervous and anxious when we were taking
them. After we stopped using them, we felt extremely
tired and unmotivated. The strict dieting left us feeling
VERY discouraged. Some diets required
cooking complicated, time-consuming recipes, which many
people don't have time for. These methods of weight
loss worked only temporarily and we found ourselves
heavier than we'd been before we started.
We were at our heaviest weight and felt extremely defeated.
The way we felt physically and mentally was becoming
unbearable. Something had to be done! But what? We had
already exhausted all of our options. So we came up
with a plan. It started with a short-term goal, which
was more realistic for us. We decided that if we ate
healthy Monday through Friday, we would
reward ourselves on the weekend. It actually
worked! We did it again the next week and the
week after that, eventually making it a way of life.
My husband and I lost a total of 90 pounds by doing
this plan and have been able to keep it off for almost
3 years! Now that we've lost weight, eating is more
enjoyable than it's ever been! The food really
does taste better. Going out to eat is a whole
different experience, too. Before, our clothes were
uncomfortably tight, which made us feel self-conscious.
What a pleasure it is now to go out and feel comfortable
and good about ourselves! So many people have asked
us how we lost the weight, and we are excited to share
it with anyone who wants to know.
This is a simple plan and most importantly, a realistic
way to lose weight and keep it off. It offers hope,
rewards, better health and long-term weight loss. This
plan gives you something to look forward to! When the
weekend comes, you can eat whatever you want! That means
on Saturday and Sunday there is NO
calorie counting, or specific foods you should or shouldn't
eat. You can eat at home or at any restaurant you choose.
Our plan has very simple eating guidelines, which
applies only Monday thru Friday. Eating well during
the week is beneficial in many ways. You feel good physically
because you fed your body healthy food. You feel good
mentally because you had the discipline to achieve your
goal. It's really exciting to think about what you are
going to eat on the weekend.
And the best part about it is knowing you deserve it!
